Chico von Cochem is a very handsome 4 year old German Shepherd. A sweet, loving boy, he will come to you, lick your hand while giving you puppy eyes and will lean on you to be petted all over. He is housebroken, knows "Sit" and takes treats gently. Get him to settle down before the start of an outing - giving him structure and calm helps him get comfortable. That will be his chance to shine, showing you how much he’s improved his leash-walking skills and how pleasant a medium energy level can be when combined with an attitude of focus on you. Chico enjoys meeting other dogs and is, in fact, actually happier when he can be around them. He does great in playgroups, proving himself to be a great greeter – a very social boy who quickly starts to get comfortable off leash. Although he looks upon his canine pals with a high level of acceptance and approval, he doesn’t forget his people, checking on them from time to time and asking to be petted. Kitties, however, are not on his list of potential friends.
